Reeb Cycles


When Dale’s (REEB and Oskar Blues Brewery owner) bike was stolen, REEB Cycles was born as a middle finger to bike thieves and bikes made overseas. We fabricate all of our frames from raw tubing to finished bike at our shop in Longmont, CO. Our new REEB ABT OX Platinum tube set is 100% American-made by True Temper Sports to our custom specification, and the small parts are machined entirely by Paragon Machine Works, a small shop in California.

The tube set continues our desire to modernize American Made steel hardtail mountain bikes into the aggressive Trail Riding/All Mountain genre. The front triangle of the REEB ABT (#REEBabt) tube set uses the first American Made steel seat tube (REEBst) to accommodate a 31.6mm seatpost and 1 ¾ down tube (REEBdt).  The seat tube allows more options for dropper seat posts and paired with the down tube pushes the strength and stiffness of the frame to accommodate the ever growing options of long-travel forks while providing a stable bottom bracket to enhance the accuracy of the bike and use of the Gates Carbon Drive system options. The ABT tube set is implemented in all of our steel Mountain Bikes, fatbikes & dirt jump rigs.

REEBdikyelous Boost spec 27.5+ single speed:


The newest incarnation of the REEBdikyelous has been updated with the Boost spec (148x12mm rear end, 110mm OLD fork) to enable fitment of 27.5×3″ tires, while retaining our signature short chainstays and trail-oriented geometry.REEB_022216_0009

Another hot addition to the bike is the Gates Carbon Drive direct mount front sprocket for the RaceFace Turbine Cinch crank. Sweet throwback styling on the sprocket clean up the lines of the bottom bracket area, and add a bit of BMX flair to an already super playful bike.REEB_022216_0012

Smac Innovations bars, customized with the Dale’s Pale Ale imprint and matching Smac checker design. As with all of our mountain and fat bikes, the frame is compatible with a 31.6mm dropper seatpost, and can be upgraded to stealth routing.REEB_022216_0024

The Sam’s Pants Tour Divide edition – Reeb Cycles:

JoesSams_010416_001Our The Sam’s Pants frame gets a super sweet build for this bike. Equipped with a maintenance-free Rohloff Speedhub and Gates Carbon Drive drivetrain, it’s meant for super long haul days. The Son generator front hub and hard mounted front and rear lights make it perfectly suited for those recover-your-position night efforts.

Joe is known as an ultra-marathon trail runner, and has transitioned incredibly well into the world of long distance bike races. Local company revelo made a set of custom frame bags (not pictured) for the bike, utilizing discarded Oskar Blues promotional vinyl banners.JoesSams_010416_008Currently equipped with the Lauf Trail Racer fork and a fresh coat of mud. TyREEBdonkadonk Fatbike w/ Pinion Transmission:

Welcome to fabREEBcator’s fatbike future freakness with our TyREEBdonkadonk fatbike frame featuring the Gates Carbon Drive paired with the Pinion P1.12 gearbox and a fuhCAN rad build.

TiDonkPinion_112115_FrontCropThe handmade titanium frame is built around the 5.05″ Vee Rubber Snowshoe 2XL tire.  The titanium Pinion bridge and small parts are made with care in California by Paragon Machine Works. The chainstay yoke is straight from the cerebrum & fingers of Chris Soultrain Sulfrian at the REEB fabrication shop.  This frame is built for the Lauf Carbonara fatbike fork ( 60mm travel, 2.4 lbs) and features internal dropper seatpost routing.  A matte glass bead finish and Oskar Blues Brewery Deviant Dale’s IPA inspired graphics are the finishing touches.  You’re looking at 4.6 lbs, frame only.

TiDonkPinion_112115_HeadbadgeCropThis sled utilizes the PINION P1.12 gearbox (12 speeds) with fatbike crank and spider paired with Gates Carbon Drive. The P1.12 gearbox offers nearly the same range as the P1.18 (18 speed) with wider steps between gears.

The build finishes up with Hope Tech 3 E4 disc brakes in red, Cane Creek 110 Headset in red (Made in North Carolina) and Thomson stem. The bike weighs in at 32 lbs. REEB Cycles – The Sam’s Pants Titanium Super Commuter:

Chris Soultrain Sulfrian….a.k.a FabREEBcator  (hot damn the dude has a lot of nicknames) went the distance on this Titanium The Sam’s Pants made for a heady customer at Eddy’s Bike Shop.  This super commuter / gravel grinder (depending on tire selection) came together with a long list of RAD.  Titanium Joe and Paragon Machine Works bits come together to extend the hand made craftsmanship to include a custom REEB titanium seatpost and stem to boot.


The build continued to take this one to 11.  Powered by a Gates Carbon Drive paired with Shimano electronic Di2 shifting and an Alfine 11 speed internal geared hub, the rig kills any need for drivetrain maintenance in sloppy gravel or snowy conditions.  The custom REEB seatpost also features an integral Di2 battery mount and internal wiring.



This bike is absolutely made for our Old Man Winter Bike Rally set for February 7th starting at Oskar Blues Grill & Brew in Lyons, CO.  50km or 100km of dirt, snow, sweat, and beer rolling through the world-famous cycling mecca of Boulder County, ColoRADo…from Lyons to Boulder and beyond.

REEBdonkadonk with 190mm rear end:

Hey Fatheads, we’re continuing our American Made steel innovation by offering a 190mm frame in addition to our existing 170mm REEBdonkadonk Fatbike.  The 190mm fits the newest generation of 5”+ tires, while addressing drivetrain compatibility and alignment issues that exist when you try to put a larger tire in a 170mm frame.  The 190mm frame will complement the existing 170mm frame that will be adjusted to fit a maximum 4” rear tire (unless running single speed, Rohloff or Pinion) to create the most effective drivetrain application.   Tried & true trail inspired REEBdonkadonk geometry will remain the same for both 170mm & 190mm models.


In September of 2014 we worked with True Temper Bicycle and Henry James Bicycles to create our American Made proprietary  REEB ABT tubeset.  The tube set continues our desire to modernize American made steel hardtail mountain bikes into the aggressive Trail Riding / All Mountain genre.  In addition to the 44mm Paragon Machine Works headtube the front triangle of the REEB ABT (#REEBabt) tube set uses the first American Made steel seat tube (REEBST1) to accommodate a 31.6mm seatpost & 1¾” down tube (REEBDT1).  The seat tube allows more options for dropper seat posts and paired with the down tube pushes the strength & stiffness of the frame to accommodate the ever growing options of long-travel forks while providing a stable bottom bracket to enhance the accuracy of the bike & use of the Gates Carbon Drive system options.

The 2015/2016 REEBdonkadonk (#REEBdonkadonk) fatbikes will be available in both 170mm and 190mm options and will pair the True Temper Bicycle REEB ABT Front triangle including the Paragon Machine Works 120mm bottom bracket with custom chain stays designed to accommodate the progressing options of fatbike components without having to go to an offset frame design.
